PRIVACY

ONEKANA™ PRINCIPLES

ONEKANA™ is a system which makes it easy for businesses and people to share information about their organisations, products and hobbies with others, locally, globally, and visually through the use of visual interfaces overlayed with information and interactive applications incorporated into the interface.

OneKana™ follows three core principles

  • This is an open platform so, “what you see we all see” – you control the content that is visible for others to see, and you control the distribution of that content through partners’ and third party initiatives, as represented on their web sites.  Our default privacy settings allow others to request partnership with you, and allow you to be able to use our networking engine to do likewise – you can then accept or reject requests as per your individual objectives, as can third parties approached by you.
  • The platform is also open in the sense  that you may download and use the applications we have developed on your web site to drive your web site, or manage partnerships and reward programmes with third parties directly through your web site – we aim to make this process as easy as possible, so if you have suggestions or ideas please send them to networks@globaldistrict.com. In order to download and use the applications you will have to accept the terms of use relating to the applications (“Onekana™ Terms of Use”, a copy of the current version of which can be found in your personal account section behind your login).
  • Through our GlobalDistrict™ web sites,  we will publish, promote  and signpost initiatives of a local nature instigated by you and your partners, as well as the content you have made available to share.  Local GlobalDistrict™ web sites will locate and promote members with a view to creating local hubs supporting virtual 3D or artistic representations of geographical locations.  These are designed to act as local platforms for commerce, wealth creation, reward schemes, and community initiatives instigated by you.

OneKana™ means “be visible” in Swahili, and we derive our core principles from this goal of openness and visibility.
